Overview:

This is a very popular game, and has tons of fans.  Many people think that it is the best RPG ever, but I'm not one of them.  Nevertheless, here it is.  This game started in 1985 and newer versions have come out later, but NetHack basically started RPGs as we know them. 3D graphical RPGs would not be what they are today if it wasn't for this game.  There are no graphics, you move around using typein commands and objects are represented by character symbols.  The "Guidebook.txt" file included in the download may be of interest to you if you like the storyline of NetHack.
