Overview:

Countdown puts you in the shoes of an amnesic American intelligence officer in Istanbul. Your name is Mason Powers and you must escape the asylum you are in. Make any mistakes, and you might get caught. As you go along, you will get to see some short cut scenes that tell you more about who you are and what you are doing.

There is a time limit to finish the game, and it is of 96 hours. You can save your game by pressing F. This can also load games. If you select the mouse as the controller, you can click on all the actions. This is easier, but if you prefer the keyboard, use the F1 to F9 in rooms and F1 to F7 in conversations for each command, reading left to right. Pressing I will open your inventory, and the cursor keys can be used to move about.

This game can get frustrating, but fortunately there is help. If you are stuck, go to your favorite search engine and type in "Countdown Walkthrough". You should find some help there, I sure did.
