Overview:
Tetris
has been taken to a third dimension! Blockout is harder to
play, because you have to worry about more things. There are
three ways to rotate the blocks, and you also have to make
sure you are placing them in the right section. The blocks
are see through except the edges while they are in play, and
take on a solid color when they are set down. Each layer has
a different color.
There
are three types of games: Flat Fun, 3-D Mania, and Out of
Control. The differences between them are the dimensions of
the playing area. There are 9 levels for each of these types.
You can also edit the block set between flat, basic, and extended.
To
control the blocks, a variety of keys are used. Blockout lets
you rotate the blocks in three ways. Press A and Q to rotate
about the X axis. Press S and W to rotate about the Y axis.
Finally, press D and E to rotate about the Z axis.
